Staff Therapist
Empowered Connections Counseling · Chicago, Illinois
Position Summary
Empowered Connections Counseling is seeking a Staff Therapist to provide mental and emotional health services to individuals, couples, and families.
Key Responsibilities
Provide mental and emotional health services to individuals, couples, and families.
Complete intake assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
Maintain timely progress notes for each session.
Maintain a clinical caseload of at least 22 cases per week (minimum 18 full fee/fully insured plus at least 2 sliding scale clients).
Submit insurance claims and process client payments on a daily basis.
Attend staff meetings (on a biweekly to monthly basis as determined by the Administrator).
Attend case consultation meetings (on a biweekly to monthly basis as determined by Administrator).
Engage in marketing and networking tasks to build and maintain caseload relationships with other professionals in the field.
Attend employee evaluation/review meetings with Administrator.
As eligible, maintain a clinical license in good standing in the state of Illinois including satisfying all necessary requirements.
Follow all HIPAA requirements and other rules, policies, and procedures applicable to Empowered Connections Counseling, as well as clinical therapy.
Allocate 5-10 hours per week for administrative work detailed above.
Work may be performed from the company’s downtown Chicago office or through teletherapy from home, provided that remote work is performed within Illinois and within commuting distance of the office for required in-person meetings or other business needs. Evening and/or weekend appointments may be required as agreed upon with clients.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
At least one year of experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Current Illinois license of at least Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT).
Salary Range
$51,334 - $55,000
