Personal bio: Asking for help can be hard, but therapy can help you find yourself while learning how to cope with the challenges of life. I believe that it is essential to develop trust between the therapist and client in order to create a safe space. As your therapist I will meet you where you are and see you as a whole because I believe that the mind, body, and soul are connected.
I utilize a person-centered approach because I believe that therapy consists of therapists guiding clients to better themselves. This approach will also encourage you to take the lead in your session, and give you the opportunity to motivate yourself to work through pain. I also incorporate Adlerian approaches to take a look at your family constellation to see what your earlier years of life looked like and how they influenced you. I regularly incorporate non-judgement and validation in my practice because I believe validating all emotion is essential for healing and growth.
In my free time, I enjoy freelance photography, painting, working out, and spending time with my family. I look forward to working with you!
During our sessions, you can expect: To have a safe space to get to know me and for me to get to know you as well. You can share as little or as much as you feel comfortable and we will talk about how therapy will look like for you.
