Personal bio: I have a specialized interest and extensive training in working with clients experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders while navigating family planning, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting. The decision to become a parent is expected to be an exciting and positive change in one's life, and it certainly can be! And it is also a change that, at the same time, can be difficult or even painful for many different reasons. The journey and transition to parenthood requires a lot of learning, adjusting, and compassion for yourself. Therapy can help.

I utilize a variety of interventions and techniques to support my clients. In our sessions we will work to discover a deeper understanding of the difficulties you're facing and explore new ways to cope from day to day.

My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and strengths-based. I bring authenticity and genuineness to the therapy space and encourage you to also show up as your whole self. If you are ready to get started or would like to learn more about my practice, please reach out to schedule a brief consultation or our first session.

During our initial sessions, you can expect… A session focused on getting to know one another and establishing goals for therapy. I’ll ask questions about what’s going on in your life and how it's been impacting you. In my work I also find it helpful to understand more about my client’s relationships, including their family and what their upbringing is like.
