Personal bio:

I am driven by my own profound, transformative journey of rediscovering and rebuilding myself. I chose to become a therapist to support others in creating meaningful connections and finding healing through relationships. My personal experiences have shown me both the pain and empowerment that relationships can bring. I deeply understand what it feels like to be invisible, hopeless, and lacking self-worth.

I also know how challenging it can be to seek therapeutic support when feeling vulnerable, yet I believe therapy offers a powerful space to affirm one’s values, explore unrecognized strengths, and embrace authenticity. I believe when the therapist and the client walk together, self-love and confidence can be rebuilt. In our therapeutic space, not only will you feel deep understanding, curiosity, and empathy, but you will also be challenged to examine long-held beliefs and address underlying issues. I view each person’s story as unique and powerful, with the potential to transform hopelessness into hope when revisited. By working together, we can uncover the paths leading to a fulfilling life where everyone’s story reinforces their strength and worth.

I draw from my lived experiences of being a refugee, working multiple jobs to make a living, pursuing education on a nontraditional path, and as a mother. My experiences have taught me to embrace the person as who they are. Outside of my professional life, I love connecting with nature through walking, running, and biking. These activities help me build a relationship with the natural world, bringing a sense of peace and renewal.

During our initial sessions, you can expect: I will ask about your family history, and your story of arriving at our therapeutic table. You may feel free to ask any questions and to explore the atmosphere between us.
